Delivery and Ordering

Our Delivery Charges are as follows

Orders up to £5.00 - £1.50 postage and packing

Orders £5.00 - £10.00 - £2.25 postage and packing

Orders £10.00 - £50.00 - £3.50 postage and packing

Orders £50.00 plus £4.95 postage and packing

(Unfortunately this standard charge excludes the Scottish Highlands and some other parts of north Scotland. Please contact us for a quote for delivery charges to these areas.)

Orders are normally despatched within twenty four hours of receipt of the order. Please allow up to five working days for delivery.

For express or next-day delivery please contact us for delivery charges.

In the event a particular item is out of stock we will advise you accordingly and provide you with an estimated delivery date.

Please ensure that we are given a full and correct address with postcode. We regret we are unable to deliver to a PO Box Number. Please be clear with regard to your address, as additional charges for redelivery will be incurred by yourself.

For deliveries to Southern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man please contact us for delivery charges and availability.

For overseas delivery please contact us for a quotation for overseas delivery and handling charges. Some overseas orders may be subject to local import duties and we will not be liable for these payments

All postage costs are the purchasers for both sending and returning.

Once we despatch the goods we cannot be liable for any delay by post and to this extent we will not enter into any compensation agreement due to the late delivery of any item.

From personal experience we know the anticipation you have once you have placed your order. It’s our aim to ship as quickly as possible, even within the same day. But please allow up to 7 business days for delivery. However some items may be out of stock or special order. In this instance it may take up to 28 days to deliver your goods. Also during peak times delivery may take a little longer.

Special handmade items are made to order and may take up to 4 weeks. If you have a latest delivery date in mind, please contact us in order to avoid disappointment.

Once your items are on their way to you, we will drop you a line to let you know, so you can keep an eye out for the postman.

Ordering and payment

Simply click on the item you would like with the quantity and the item will be added to your shopping basket. Postage costs will be added at the end.

If you would like to pay by cheque please make them payable to Down To Earth.

Packaging & postage prices

At Down To Earth we are doing our bit to help the environment, by utilising and recycling all packaging. This means that your goods may not be contained in a brand new box, but all of our packaging is clean and fit for reuse. We take pride in ensuring that you will be delighted from the moment you open the box.

Cancellation

You have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving the goods under the distance selling regulations. However, returning the goods to us in the condition they were dispatched in is your responsibility and we would either refund or exchange them.

Returns Policy

Items can only be exchanged or refunded, in their original condition, within 7 days from delivery. Please repack the items in the original packaging. Please note, post and packaging costs are non-refundable and at your expense. We regret that we cannot exchange earrings. In the event of the item being faulty, we will cover all costs for postage and either refund or exchange the goods. Please allow 7 days for your return or exchange to be processed.
