Rachael Taylor
After a high demand of product requests, the popular surface pattern designer & textile artist Rachael Taylor has set up her own print label. Each product has been designed exclusively by Rachael and produced to a high standard in the UK. Rachael is very excited and passionate about her new and upcoming label and hopes her products & patterns will brighten your room adding a quirky & fun twist.
Rachael likes to bring her own personality to her work & creates fun quirky designs 'patterns to make you happy'. Her positive & energetic approach was recognised in 2009 as she was awarded the title of 'the happiest person in Britain 2009' from her excited & happy twitter posts. Her patterns are spontaneous as Rachael loves to draw with her right & left hand and sometimes even with her eyes closed. This way her patterns are unique & full of energy, she takes inspiration from everything around her & many of her motifs come from her own mood & personality.
Rachael has recently had her work published in four renowned design books. She is also regularly featured in design & lifestyle magazines along with features on famous inspirational design blogs such as Print & Pattern.
As seen in Company Magazine! Famous chef Gizzi Erskine recently gave Rachael’s' products a lovely feature & write up in her monthly column for Company magazine (Feb 2011 issue) "On the look out for cool kitchen textiles, I stumbled across Rachael Taylor and her beautiful prints. In retro colours & outlandish styles, they'll bring sparkle to your kitchen".
"Graduating in 2005...Rachael Taylor has become one of the most progressive pattern & textile artists" Concept for Living Magazine, November 2010.
