Linda Farquharson
Linda M Farquharson is a Scottish artist printmaker based in Edinburgh. Her speciality is relief printing and she makes small limited edition linocuts and wood engravings from a loft studio in Leith.
Her work follows many themes; country pursuits, gardens, decorative animals and the elements are all favourite subjects reflecting a childhood spent on an Aberdeenshire farm. The use of vibrant colour and pattern are to some extent influenced by travel in eastern Europe and a love of Indian miniature painting.
